Stefanie’s believes the most important element of productive therapy is the client-clinician relationship. She creates a warm space and holds non-judgment, respect, and genuine curiosity at the center of her work with families, couples, and individuals. Her therapeutic perspective draws from systemic, narrative, and solution-focused theories, with Gottman teachings informing her work with couples. Stefanie has experience working with families with children from age 6 years old to young adulthood, couples, and individuals from teenagers to middle aged. She has a multi-culturally sensitive approach and has worked with many different populations across race, religion, immigration status, gender- and sexual-identity, and socioeconomic status on problems including couples issues, behavioral, trauma, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, life & family transitions. Stefanie fosters an interest in essential oils and holistic health, and uses aromatherapy to complement therapy sessions, unless requested otherwise.
