Dana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker whose experience encompasses working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Dana’s prior work providing in-home services to foster families, therapeutic intervention in schools and direct practice in outpatient settings provide a rich backdrop that reinforce the therapeutic scope from which she addresses many of the challenges related to anxiety, depression, developmental and lifecycle changes, relationship struggles, peer related issues, ADHD, and various areas of trauma.

 

Dana utilizes a synthesis of strength-based approach, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family therapy and play therapy. Dana is currently pursuing extensive post-graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family where she integrates family and couples work to advance her clinical practice and provide consultation within a team approach. Dana is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), enabling her to foster and integrate a mind-body wellness approach into her therapy practice utilizing techniques to strengthen the nervous system’s ability to regulate physiology and in times of stress and promote relaxation.
