Amy's professional history includes working with individuals, couples, young children and adolescents in crisis, as well as providing parental support when needed. She has worked at several major Connecticut clinics prior to joining Key Therapy, as well as working with complex issues and dual diagnosis client's in their homes through IICAPS (Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services). Her experience includes working with populations in rural areas and inner cities as well as global communities, counseling youth and women in Afghanistan, Kabul, Kenya and Finland. Amy's training as a Marriage and Family Therapist provided her with an indepth, systemic understanding of how and when to intervene when relationship dynamics begin to experience strain.


Amy is particularly passionate about working with women of all ages in their therapeutic journey towards empowerment, courage and self-love. Amy believes that all people have a story to tell, full of beauty and complexity, and that this story can both help and hinder them as attempts are made to navigate the sometimes difficult paths of life. She is committed to fostering a safe and comfortable environment for all of her clients as she understands that a trusting therapeutic relationship is essential to effective therapy.
